THE BIBLE We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments is the inspired Word of God, infallible, God - breathed, and inerrant in the original manuscripts; that the Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16)
GOD We believe in one God eternally in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that God is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, infinitely holy, and the Creator and Sustainer of all things; that the Persons of the Triune God are co-equal in being, co-identical in essence, and co-equal in power and glory. (Psalm 139; John 1:1-4; Isaiah 44:6)
JESUS CHRIST A. We believe that Jesus Christ, the unique Son of God, was manifest in the flesh, begotten by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary; that He was and is both true God and true man. (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-14)
B. We believe that Jesus entered the world to redeem man by His death on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice and that our salvation is by being justified in the sight of God; that Christ's bodily resurrection from death and the shedding of His blood were absolutely necessary for our justification. (John 3:16-17; Romans 3:23-24)
C. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven where He is now exalted at the right hand of the Father, and where He, as our High Priest, intercedes for believers. (Acts 1:9; Hebrews 4:14-16)
THE HOLY SPIRIT We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior are born again into the family of God by the regenerating and renewing power of the Holy Spirit; and that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to guide us into all truth, to lead us in life, and to empower and enable us in testimony and service. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as it was demonstrated on the day of Pentecost as well as all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. All the gifts are for today and can be used in everyday life. Miracles are for today! (John 14:15-18; John 16:7-14; Romans 8:9-11, I Corinthians 12-14)
THE GOSPEL OF SALVATION We believe that salvation is a gift of God which is unmerited and which cannot be earned by ceremony or good works; that salvation must be received by faith in the death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ resulting in a turning away from the sinful way of life; that only God knows the true condition of man's heart. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10; 1 John 3:20)
THE DEPRAVITY OF MAN We believe that man was created in the image of God and in His likeness; but that in Adam's sin, mankind fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; that all men are sinners by both nature and practice, and that man is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition without Jesus Christ. (Gen. 1:26; Gen. 3; Isaiah 59:2; Romans 3:10-18; Romans 3:19)
INTERPRETATION OF SCRIPTURES We believe that the Scriptures should be interpreted literally, that is, in the normal sense in which the words are used. We believe that the whole of Scripture is completely consistent with its parts and that its parts should be interpreted in the light of the Scriptures as a whole.
THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM We believe in the personal, physical, imminent, second coming of Jesus for His saints and in His pre-millennial return to the earth with His saints to rule the nations of the earth in peace for one thousand years. We also believe Jesus will manifest in the Body of Christ in a greater measure in these last days and come forth in the saints as never before in order to show the world a greater measure of His power and love and manifest His Kingdom on Earth before the Second Coming. The Kingdom of God will swallow up the Kingdoms of this world and Jesus will take over! (Matthew 17, 24; Rev. 20).
ORDINANCES We believe in the two ordinances of the Church given by the Lord Jesus; water baptism symbolizing our identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; and the Lord's Supper observed in remembrance of His sacrificial death until He comes. (Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 6:3-5; 1 Cor. 11:23-26)
CHURCH A. We believe that Jesus Christ instituted the Church, which is composed of persons whom He has saved, to whom He gives spiritual life, in whom He dwells, to whom and through whom He reveals God. (Matthew 16:18, 1 Corinthians 1:2)
B. The local church is composed of those persons who assemble voluntarily and in accordance with Christ's commandments for the purposes of worship, education, evangelism, service, and fellowship. (Acts 2:42-47)
C. We believe in the five-fold ministry: the ministries of the apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor-teacher for the perfecting of the saints.
